More Sweet Treats ;-)

Here are some special cake pops that I designed for my cousin's 21st birthday party. I made a floral-like arrangement of these chocolate flavored cake pops to match her party decor...take a look!

Looong Overdue...

Hello All!

It has been quite some time since I've last shared my confectionery creations with you. That's because Forever Yumz has been dormant for a little while. However, Forever Yumz is back in business for the summer and ready to satisfy your sweet tooth :-)

Below are some of the last creations that I made at the end of last summer...ENJOY!

Congrats Grad!!!

Indera, my oldest friend (I mean length of time we've known each other, not her age lol), and her family ordered a graduation cake from me for her younger sister who just graduated high school. This was my most ambitious project to date. I'm excited about how it turned out, but I couldn't have done it without the assistance of my brother, Bryan, and good friend, Judith (THANKS GUYS!!!). What do you think???

Happy 25th Bday?

On this blog, I have shared much of the good...now it's time for some not-so-good.

Cake for a 25th birthday celebration was ordered from me. Working with a certain budget, we agreed upon a cupcake arrangement. Because I had to leave town, I was not able to be present for the pick-up. However, I heard that the client seemed dissatisfied. I'm not clear on why, because I have not been able to speak with her.

Given the situation and its perimeters, I think that the cake turned out pretty nicely. Three dozen cupcakes (one dozen red velvet, one dozen chocolate, one dozen vanilla) arranged to form the number "25" and the extras were decorated with white to make the "2" and the "5" stand out. The final product included her picture  with a simple icing border on it.

In case you find it difficult to read: Blue "2", Pink "5", surrounded by white

Oh well, can't please everyone...

Bake Sale!!!

Sooo, a client of my dad's is a teacher and her school had a Juneteenth Celebration. I baked a few things to sell. I also had some t-shirts made by my cousin so as to have a more "professional" feel. Let me know what you think...
